POLIN

A series of empowerment and burnout prevention activities for the POLIN Museum team

In 2025, we started working together with the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews – we are carrying out a program of empowerment and educational activities for the team. A series of activities, preceded by an assessment of the employees’ needs, will help take care of their wellbeing and balance as well as prevent professional burnout.

About the initiative

We started the program with an anonymous diagnostic survey to gain insight into the team – to understand its training needs, level of knowledge of burnout and ways of coping with stress at work. Based on the results, we planned a series of webinars and workshops aimed at both program staff and management. The activities help participants recognize early signs of overload, regulate emotions, strengthen mental resilience and take care of their wellbeing at work. Participation in the program not only raises awareness and provides specific tools, but also gives a sense of having an impact on the quality of both individual and team work.

Activities

  • Survey - monitoring of needs and challenges
  • Webinars:
“Burnout starts with stress” – on the first signs of stress and ways of regulating emotions at work
“From burnout to wellbeing” – on ways of taking care of resources and building mental resilience
  • On-site workshops:
“Burnout – how to recognize and prevent it?” – for the program staff
“How to manage the team and not let burnout prevail?” – for the management
